Alarm Response - Bristol Cash & Carry

4am: alarm - attempted break-in
The main entrance to the warehouse was a huge roller shutter door with Pinson locks,
with bolts going into the wall for maximum security. 4am alarm goes off.

4.05am: emergency call
A Relyon security officer responded to the alarm
and found that there had been an attempted break in.
The roller door had been forced, shearing off the pinson locks.
When the officer tried to open the door to get into the building, the motor jammed so the door
couldn't be opened any further.

4.15am: sweep, secure and hold building;
6am: door repaired
6am: door repaired
The security officer contacted Control and we sent an engineer over immediately.
The engineer removed the door so they could get access to the building and check it completely.
A new door was then fitted, while the security officer remained on-site so the building remained secure throughout.

4.15am: sweep, secure and hold building;
6am: door repaired
6am: door repaired
The new door was in place by the start of the working day so they were open for business as usual.
No lost business, no hassle, no risk to staff.
Relyon also dealt with the insurance company to complete the job.
